Surround by beautiful rice field
It takes about two hours drive from Nusadua. The temple is located on the slope of Mt.Batukau. This was the state temple when Tabanan was an independent kingdom. It has a seven-roofed meru for Maha Dewa, the mountainfs guardian spirit, as well as shrines for Bratan, Tamblingan and Buyan lake. It surrounded by forest, and often damp and misty. Temple guardians will not allow the pregnant and menstruating women into the grounds.
