The cave of bats located in the east Bali
It is said that Goa Lawah was made with the appeal of the priest from Java called empu Kuturan at the beginning of the 11th century. Goa=cave and Lawah=bat, so as it means, thousands of bats hang down from the cave ceiling and fly around. The large crowd of bats starts moving in the evening, and they almost cover sky around the temple. In addition, women who are in menstruation or breast feeding to children are prohibited to enter all temples in Bali. Especially, in such a temple animals living in, you have to be careful. You may think that nobody knows, however, if you enter a temple, Gods of Bali would jealous of you (from female gods, especially) and many bad things happen to you.
