Jagad Natha Temple was built in 1953,located in the middle of Denpasar city. Every month the major festivals are held here,during the full moon and new moon.The temple is opened 24 hours for the people to pray.The temple is dedicated to the supreme God,Ida Sanghyang Widhi.The shrine is made of white coral,and consists of empty throne on top of two naga and cosmic turtle,which symbolize the foundation of the world.The walls are decorated with carvings of scenes of the Mahabarata and Ramayana(Hindufs story).Local people every afternoon come to pray and make offerings.
