The market opens from evening until night 11.00pm. Pasar Kereneng sells mainly food and goods for the local community like CDs, shoes, clothes etc. As it is the largest scale market in Denpasar, it is vast place that you cannot see the end! Visit many stores with crowd of local people. Most of the stores don’t put prices, but it is fun to negotiate price against merchant women! They cannot speak English, so recommend bringing a calculator. Moreover, in the food court, there are over 10 warung (food shop) and you can smell delicious babi guling and sate! If your stomach is strong enough, you may challenge… You can enjoy touching Balinese people’s life that you cannot feel in the shops for tourists.
