The remains of ancient Bali
Yeh Pulu is located one kilometer south of Goa Gajah(Elephant cave). After walk through the paddy fields, you will arrive at the carved cliffs of Yeh Pulu. This 25m-long carved cliff face is believed to be a hermitage dating from the late 14th century. The energetic frieze includes various scenes of everyday life, although the position and movement of the figures suggest that it could be read from left to right as a story. One theory is that they are events from the life of Krishna, the Hindu god.
