Coming north from Bedugul,at a junction conspicuously marked with a large phallic corncop sculpture.established in 1959 as a branch of the national botan- ical gardens at Bogor,West Java.They cover over 120 hectares on lower slopes of Mount Pohen and boasts an extensive collection of wild orchids,some plants are labeled with their botanical names.The gardens are cool,shady and scenic.More than 450 kind of orchis and 650 kind of trees grow in the gardens.
