The temple perched on the Indian Ocean precipice The temple perched precipitously on the southwestern tip of Peninsula hill. Uluwatu Temple is the one of 9 main temples (named “Kahyangan Jagat”), and it is famous for great view, especially, sunset view because of the location. This temple was established by a Javanese priest Empu Kuturan in 11 century, who visited Bali in order to diffuse religious regulations and establish the traditional village. In the precincts, there are plumeria blooming and friendly monkeys. In addition, every evening, Kecak Dance is famous as a dynamic dance which is livens up as sunset.
