Bali Sightseeing Uluwatu Temple

The temple perched precipitously on the southwestern tip of Peninsula hill atop sheer cliffs faced the Indian Ocean.This temple was established by a Javanese priest Empu Kuturan in 11 century.Ulu Watu temple is one of the most important temples on Bali.Important ceremonies are always held here.It is also considered as a sacred place where the Hindu’s priest from Java,Empu Nirarta attained moksa (freedom from earthly desires).when you enter the temple,you will through arched gateway flanked by statue of Ganesha.the walls inside of shrine are covered with carvings of Bali’s mythological menagerie.Ulu Watu is also second most popular spot to wacth a dramatic sunset.
